[Hammer's Slammers] Mecha

Power Armor
A Tactical Unit of power armored troops is a section of 2 Power Armors mount on a 10 cm square base or based individually.

They have a basic maximum movement as shown below :

  • Light Power Armor : 20cm
  • Heavy Power Armor : 15cm

Power Armors are unaffected by terrain except impassable terrain as unclimbable cliffs or crevace. They can cross deep water by wading on bottom. They can also cross acid streams (if players are agree).
The troop type Untrained is not allowed for Power Armors.
The Defense Number of Power Armor is 8
Power Armors are neither suppressed.

Every time a Power Armour TU takes a hit, roll a die. On 5+ an heavy Power Armor TU is not removed from play and 6+ for a Light Power Armor TU.

Close assault

  • Light PA versus infantry : +1 to assault value
  • Heavy PA versus infantry : +2 to assault value
  • Heavy PA versus light PA : +1 to assault value
  • Light & Heavy PA versus vehicle : roll 2D+1

Light Power Armor can have one infantry weapon and one infantry support weapon. Heavy Power Armor can can one infantry weapon and one vehicle weapon or 2 infantry support weapon.

Walker (mecha)
A Tactical Unit is made of one mecha.
They have a basic maximum movement as shown below :

  • Fast Mecha : 30cm
  • Slow Mecha : 15cm

Difficult Terrain : Light Vegetation, Mud, Sand, Deep Water (wading on bottom)
Impossible Terrain : Heavy Vegetation
The troop type Untrained is not allowed for Mecha.
The Defense Number

  • Light 9
  • Medium 10
  • Heavy 11

Damage table : as vehicle

Close assault is managed as for infantry

  • Mecha versus infantry : +3 to assault value (if infantry win roll on damage table)
  • Heavy Mecha versus Light mecha : +2 to assault value
  • Heavy Mecha versus Medium Mecha : +1 to assault value
  • Medium Mecha versus Light Mecha : +1 to assault value
  • Mecha versus vehicle : roll 2D+3
